Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuhu,
Dear NMJ Canada Elders, Brothers, and Sisters,
“No fatigue, nor disease, nor sorrow, nor sadness, no hurt, nor distress befalls a Muslim even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but that Allah expiates some of his sins for that.”
(Hadith – Bukhari & Muslim).
The last few days have been and continue to be an overwhelming time for all of us, with the heightened risk of the COVID-19 virus. In these times of difficulties, I would like to reach out to all our Nasserpurians to encourage them to stay strong, follow all health and safety directives laid out by the local, provincial, and national governments, and most of all continue to hold steadfast to our faith in Allah (SWT).
If I can be of any assistance to any one of you, please feel free to reach out to myself on 647-400-7567. The Executive Committee has also taken the initiative to create a “COVID-19 Task Force” team to support our members, as per the Secretary’s email sent out on March 15, 2020.
Let us continue to make our Adhkaars, pray for ourselves, and our ummah. May Allah ease all our sufferings. Ameen.
